Conner Brumley is a proud Kentuckian, changemaker, and advocate currently serving as an Undergraduate Senator At-Large in the University of Kentucky Student Government Association, in his third Senator term within UKSGA.
Born and raised in the heart of the Bluegrass (Versailles), Conner’s passion for public service began early, inspired by the educators who raised and shaped his life and the communities he’s called home.
Conner began his professional career by knocking on doors and phone-banking after seeing that his voice could make a difference at a Kentucky Youth Assembly conference. Shortly after, he began his tenure with the Woodford County Fiscal Court and spent over two years as an intern to Woodford County Judge/Executive James Kay, learning the intricacies of local government and building a deep commitment to improving his community. Then, Conner served as a Campaign Manager for Chantel Bingham’s historic run for KY's 56th District State Representative, pouring his energy into grassroots organizing, canvassing, and sharing a vision for a brighter future for the place he calls home. Following that, Conner served as a Communications Intern for the Office of Governor Andy Beshear, bringing a message of a New Kentucky Home to Kentucky families from east to west. Most recently, Conner worked for the Walt Disney Company as part of the Disney College Program, making magic for people across the world right on Main Street U.S.A. at the Emporium.
Conner is a Junior and Otis A. Singletary Scholar here at the University of Kentucky (UK), where he is double-majoring in Public Policy and Communications. On campus, he is actively engaged in campus leadership and service. Within UKSGA, Conner currently serves as a senior member of the Outreach Committee. Beyond student government, he is involved in a number of campus organizations, including Alpha Phi Omega (Grants Chair), Bridge Kentucky (Operations Chair), the University of Kentucky Men's Chorus (Member), Disney Professional Development Club (Member), Campus Ministry (Member), and the Lewis Honors College (Member).
Conner has bled blue since the day he was born and is honored to serve his fellow Wildcats each and every day.
